Welcome to the Berea International Artisan eXchange website!
BIAX is a place where you can experience the handicrafts at all levels.  This is a very exciting time for us because we are just getting started. Presently we are offering workshops in woodworking and cooking at our facility in Old Town Berea, but we will be adding more programs, including ceramics, textiles, metals, glass, baskets, photography, jewelry and more, and we hope to eventually move into a larger facility, recently

vacated by Churchill Weavers.  The International aspect of our operation starts with the Director, Thom Price, who spent 11 years in Venice, Italy, building gondolas, and who has many contacts with artisans around the world who will come and "exchange" their talents with you.
Come be a part of this exciting new venture as we help continue the rich tradition of folk arts and crafts in Berea... and beyond.
